Whether you watch football’s final showdown for the sport, the commercials or the halftime show (or if it’s just an excuse to have a party!), keep your eyes open for the all-new 2012 Passat and the New Beetle in two of VW’s biggest, baddest commercials yet.
The New York Times’ Stuart Elliot talked to Tim Ellis, our VP of marketing, and got the scoop on the two new spots. “The new Passat and redesigned New Beetle are ‘absolutely essential to our growth’ in the United States,” Stuart writes.
“Star Wars” fans in particular will get a kick out of the commercial for the 2012 Passat, and the new Beetle will make a fairly…unique appearance.
