Cars.com thinks the new 2012 VW Passat isn’t just “cavernous,” but comfy too.

2012 VW Passat

Some of you may have noticed that our all-new 2012 Volkswagen Passat has undergone some changes. One of the more obvious ones is that the new Passat is bigger. With that in mind, you may be inclined to ask some questions, such as, “Does bigger mean better?” or, “Why should I care?” or even, “What should I have for lunch today?” Well, we can’t help you with everything, but if you were to ask Kelsey Mays of Cars.com, you might find answers to some of those questions you’ve been asking.

Kelsey spent a few moments with the 2012 Passat at the NAIAS reveal in early January, even going so far as to write his article in the backseat with legs “comfortably extended.” What were some of the adjectives that jumped out at him about our new beauty? How about “… Roomy. Cavernous. Friggin’ huge.” These words are music to our ears. See, not only are we bringing construction of the Passat state-side, we’re also giving our wonderful VW fans more reasons to feel good about it, with class-leading rear leg room and increased elbow room.

Yep, the 2012 Passat is certainly pushing the bar for midsize sedans. Starting with a more spacious interior, and ending with a more comfortable you.

Does that answer your question(s)? We thought so. But in case you’ve got more, take a look at the Cars.com review of the 2012 Volkswagen Passat here:
