Ah, pockets. How great are they? They hold your spare change, give your comb a home and, if you own a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, can even help you open, lock and start your car. If you have your Volkswagen key fob in your pocket (or anywhere on your person, for that matter), you can just pull the door handle to unlock and open your door. To lock it, just touch your thumb to the depression in the door handle, and to start your Jetta, just step on the brake and push the START/STOP button. And you thought that making a Rabbit appear was the only magic trick we knew.
To help you learn about great features like this and more, we’ve created a new site with detailed information on all our 2012 Volkswagen models. Take a look—we’re confident that you’ll be a Volkswagen know-it-all in no time.
Check out the site and let us know what you learned about your new Jetta.

people, becarefull if you intend to buy a VW jetta . i bought one in 2005 , 2 friends of my did the same, all three cars had problems month after month, they got rid of their cars just in two years and i did not (stupid of me) they got rid of the problems and i still have mine. i spent already over $10k on repairs. i do not recommend it to no one due to the problems i am facing. just today after the dealer called me to tell me that this week repair (the car is over the dealer for the past two and half weeks and still having problems fixing it) around 2k, i told the dealer that they can keep that trash. it is a 2005 JETTA TDI

A great feature. As a busy mom and homecare nurse I often have my hands full. It is great to be able to unlock and lock the car without having to search for the keys. One feature I will never live without again.
