The Beetle may not have a tailgate, but trust us: Volkswagen knows how to party. In fact, we kicked off a one-year partnership with Rolling Stone yesterday with the Volkswagen Rock & Roll Fan Tailgate Party. In the hours leading up to the Big Game, 3,500 of our closest friends gathered just three blocks from Lucas Oil Stadium at The Crane Bay in Indianapolis for the ultimate pre-game experience.

We think it’s super: Volkswagen hopes to score big with a new commercial

The Big Game. It’s all about parties, friends, endless snacks, and of course, great commercials. (And—for those of you who are into that sort of thing—football.) Volkswagen made quite a splash during last year’s Big Game with The Force, our award-winning commercial starring the Volkswagen Passat and a pint-sized Darth Vader. After releasing our teaser earlier this month, we’re back with a new ad featuring the 2012 Beetle.

Beetles take over the Motor City: The ultimate Beetle experience at the Detroit Auto Show
